1% pay increase for 2017/18 goes ahead

We have received confirmation that the NJC has agreed to uplift salaries across the board by 1.0%, including continual professional development (CPD) payments, backdated to 1st July 2017.

The increase (which does not constitute a full and final offer in respect of settlement for the pay year 2017/18) has been agreed while negotiations between Employers’ and Employee representatives continue.
